Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, St. Michael's was edged by Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Tigers play the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 23. Taos will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM).
