Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lawrence Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to meet the Colts in a test on Tuesday, August 26. The Colts go into the test with a record of 0-1. Albemarle School lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Community Christian for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Greenfield will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-2.
