The Timberlake Christian Tornadoes soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Varsity Opponent to 1 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Eastern Mennonite for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Timberlake Christian will play a Flames squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Flames record now stands at 1-1.
