The Comets (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Lindsay (Lindsay, OK). The Leopards come into the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Lindsay was routed by Alva (Alva, OK), 1-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Shawnee Wolves (Shawnee, OK) in a 5A District 4 match, on Monday, August 25. Durant will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Putnam City North (Oklahoma City, OK).
