The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the New Lima Falcons (New Lima, OK) and the host Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK), observed New Lima's softball team notch a victory over Sasakwa by a tally of 18-8.

The Falcons (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets go into the Class A bout with a 7-3 record.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) in a Class B bout, on Monday, August 25. Sasakwa will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Coleman (Coleman, OK).
