In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Brook Hill Guard volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Alto Yellowjackets.
The Guard (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, East Texas Homeschool Sports achieved victory over San Augustine (San Augustine, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Brook Hill for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Alto will meet a Guard team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over King's Academy (Tyler, TX). The Guard record now stands at 3-1.
