Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Jackson County beat Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Mountaineers face the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 25. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the game with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Jellico (Jellico, TN).
