In Friday's non-league match, the Calvary West Christian HUSKIES (Anthony, NM) volleyball team held off the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Defenders (South Silver City, NM), by a margin of 3-2.
The HUSKIES now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13.
With the loss, Calvary Christian Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to Job Corps (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
