The Carolina Christian Lions volleyball team (Locust, NC), was beaten 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC)

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC). The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Temple Baptist was beaten by Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Victory Christian Academy Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a NCCSA A District 1- West Region challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Carolina Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
