The Cardinals (13-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph (Victoria, TX). The Flyers go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, St. Joseph achieved victory over Shiner (Shiner, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Bernard for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Yoakum will encounter a Brahmas squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 4-7.
