The Flour Bluff Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Langham Creek for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Flour Bluff will play a Lobos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Leander (Leander, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Fort Bend Austin drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 7-8. Rouse lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Steele (Cibolo, TX)
