The MacArthur Brahmas volleyball squad (San Antonio, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX)

With the win, Pioneer improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Diamondbacks travel to Goliad (Goliad, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 12-3. Goliad won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Victoria East (Victoria, TX)

Next, the Brahmas battle the Winn Mavericks (Eagle Pass, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 contest, on Tuesday, August 26. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX).
