The West Panthers edged the host Park City Miners volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers face the Murray Spartans (Murray, UT) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. West will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Deseret Peak (Tooele, UT).
The Miners (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Uintah nudged Carbon (Price, UT), 3-1, in a non-league game.
