The Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs go into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Donna North was edged by Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission Veterans Memorial for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Valley View will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Roma (Roma, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 8-0.
