The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) and the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), saw South Lenoir's volleyball squad nip Rosewood by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, South Lenoir upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Blue Devils host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Goldsboro for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25.
