South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Raiders confront the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. South Point will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).

The Greenwave now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A challenge on Monday, September 12.
