Nebraska High School Softball - Bishop Neumann holds off Aquinas

Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Point-Beemer for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 27. Bishop Neumann will battle a Cadets squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Cadets record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Aquinas falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Schuyler (Schuyler, NE) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 30. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-6.
