The Trion Bulldogs routed the visiting Coosa Eagles softball squad by a final score of 9-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-I Region 7 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Chattooga topped Armuchee (Rome, GA), 5-1, in a league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Dade County for a 1A D-I Region 7 battle on Thursday, August 25. Coosa will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Darlington (Rome, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.
