Nebraska High School Softball - Ponca bounces West Point-Beemer

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) and the host West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE), witnessed Ponca's softball squad prevail over West Point-Beemer by a count of 14-1.

The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to O'Neill for a non-league match on Thursday, August 25. Ponca will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, West Point-Beemer moves to 1-3 on the season. The Cadets travel to Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, August 27. The Cavaliers go into the match with a record of 4-1. Bishop Neumann won 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Aquinas (David City, NE)
