Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collins Hill for a 7A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, August 25. Dacula will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to South Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Peachtree Ridge falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions host North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 7A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
