Georgia High School Softball - Jenkins County holds off Jefferson County

The Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) softball the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 5-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The War Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, New Hampstead by McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Swainsboro for a 1A D-I Region 2 bout on Thursday, August 25. Jefferson County will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 18-7 league win over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
