Georgia High School Softball - Lumpkin County bounces West Hall

The Lumpkin County Indians routed the host West Hall Spartans softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Indians (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors go into the 3A Region 7 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, White County notched a victory over Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 6-4, in a league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Gainesville for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. West Hall will confront a Red Elephants squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 0-8.
