The Pickens Dragons softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Union County Panthers to 2 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pickens improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Dragons travel to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region 7 game on Thursday, August 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-10. Dawson County lost 6-4 in their recent league game against White County (Cleveland, GA)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 26. Union County will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA).
