In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) volleyball squad edged the host More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Rapid City Christian Comets (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 25. Douglas will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, More drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to battle the Comets in a A Region 8 contest on Saturday, August 27.
