In Tuesday's league battle, the host Iroquois/Lake Preston volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the James Valley Christian Vikings.
The (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Cardinals come into the B Region 3 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Arlington was edged by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Vikings encounter the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. James Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Fliers come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, SD).
