The Lake County Baptist Lions held off the host Union Grove Christian volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for a Illinois Association of Christian Schools test on Friday, August 26.
The (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Lake County Baptist (Waukegan, IL). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
Match Summary
The Lady Lions didn’t start off so well by losing the first two in a five game match. They kept fighting, would not quit, and left it all on the floor. This varsity team rallied and won 3 straight. It was incredible to watch and truly inspiring. The elite camps and all the hard work they're putting in practice truly paid off.
