With the win, Navarro upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-19. Crockett lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)

The Rebels now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Navasota for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. Travis will play a Rattlers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 14-4.
