North Carolina High School Volleyball - Weldon over North Edgecombe

Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Chargers battle the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A match, on Tuesday, August 30. Weldon will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

With the loss, North Edgecombe drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 24. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 1-2. Tarboro lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
