In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting White County Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pickens Dragons.

The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats come into the 3A Area 7 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Gilmer lost by Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Dragons clash with the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a 3A Area 7 battle, on Tuesday, August 23. Pickens will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA).
