The Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) softball routed the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Locust Grove was routed by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 7-6, in a league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host East Coweta for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. McIntosh will confront a Indians squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Indians record now stands at 3-0.
