The West Brunswick Trojans volleyball team (Shallotte, NC), went down 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC)

The Gators (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick defeated Union (Rose Hill, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
