Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pepperell for a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Thursday, August 24. Armuchee will face a Dragons squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Rome falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Darlington (Rome, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 30. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
