North Carolina High School Volleyball - R-S Central overwhelmed by Crest

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Crest Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the R-S Central Hilltoppers.

The Chargers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Gaffney lost by Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hilltoppers clash with the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A battle, on Tuesday, August 29. R-S Central will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
