In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Maiden Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the North Lincoln Knights.
The Blue Devils (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, St. Stephens defeated Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights encounter the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 24. North Lincoln will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).
