The Scarlet Hurricanes now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilhowie for a non-league game on Thursday, August 24. Marion will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Seymour defeated Austin-East (Knoxville, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
