North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson edged by Pinnacle Classical Academy

The Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles held off the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nebo Crossing Academy for a Western Piedmont Athletic test on Friday, August 25. Pinnacle Classical Academy will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Gryphons (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Bessemer City was nudged by Huss (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
