In Wednesday's league battle, the host Polytechnic Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Westridge Tigers.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Normans come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Beverly Hills lost by Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 25. Westridge will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).
