The Yuba City Honkers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Woodland Wolves to 0 in the Honkers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Honkers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bluff for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Yuba City will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.

The Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Pierce was dropped by Sutter (Sutter, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
