California High School Flag Football - Esperanza thwarted by Aliso Niguel

Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), 19-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Aliso Niguel advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to play the Stallions in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The Stallions go into the battle with a record of 3-1. San Juan Hills won 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA)

The Aztecs now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Beckman for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 24. Esperanza will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
