In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Centennial Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Clovis Wildcats.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Hobbs got by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 27. Clovis will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM).
