The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) and the visiting Classen SAS Comets (Oklahoma City, OK), observed Bishop McGuinness's softball team prevail over Classen SAS by a tally of 22-2.

The Fighting Irish (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Lions go into the 4A District 4 bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Blanchard knocked off Alva (Alva, OK), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Classen SAS will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record.
