The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) and the visiting Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK), observed Kingfisher's softball team prevail over Putnam City by a tally of 12-0.
The Yellowjackets (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK). The Rockets go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Anadarko Warriors (Anadarko, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 24. Putnam City will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Chisholm (Enid, OK).
