California High School Volleyball - Bakersfield Shafter

Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Shafter improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Generals travel to East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Blades in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Blades go into the test with a record of 2-1. East Bakersfield lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Chavez (Delano, CA)

The Drillers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Golden Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Bakersfield will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Delano (Delano, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
