The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds to 0 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Houghton Lake for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 27. Johannesburg-Lewiston will play a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, St. Mary Cathedral drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Snowbirds host Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI) to play the Swordsmen in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Swordsmen come into the outing with a record of 0-1.
