The Lamesa Tornadoes edged the visiting Ropes Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 23. Lamesa will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Friona (Friona, TX).
