Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK) and the visiting Noble Bears (Noble, OK), observed Sapulpa's volleyball team top Noble by a count of 2-0.

The Chieftains (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, El Reno was knocked off by Southwest Covenant (Yukon, OK), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bears battle the Memorial Chargers (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Noble will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glenpool (Glenpool, OK).
