The Danbury Lakers football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks to 13 in the Lakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Waldron for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30.

The Crimson Streaks (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH). The Cardinals go into the Northern 8 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Stritch was ripped by St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH), 43-0, in a league test.
