In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Bishop Rosecrans Bishops soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Grove City Christian Eagles.
The Bishops (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wellington School (Columbus, OH). The Jaguars enter the Mid-State - Buckeye outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Wellington School by Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH), 8-0, in a league test.
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Ready for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Grove City Christian will clash with a Silver Knights team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 0-1.
