The Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) softball routed the host Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK), 6-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heavener for a 3A outing on Saturday, August 23. Sperry will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Talihina (Talihina, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
The Chiefs (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Chelsea (Chelsea, OK). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Chelsea was routed by Westville (Westville, OK), 8-0, in a non-league test.
