Nebraska High School Softball - Centura bounces O'Neill

The Centura Centurions softball team scored 7 runs and held the host O'Neill Eagles to 3 in the Centurions non-league win on Saturday.

The Centurions now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a C District challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Centura will play a Stars squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE). The Stars record now stands at 2-0.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Wayne nipped Twin River (Genoa, NE), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
